Sabrina is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Sabrina has a passion for working with families, women and children who are dealing with crises. Sabrina started as a crisis advocate for women and children facing domestic violence/sexual abuse while working on her degree in psychology. Sabrina received her Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology from California State University, Fresno with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Sabrina has worked with severely mentally ill children and adolescents, adults, families and couples. She has worked with families who are struggling with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, domestic violence.
Sabrina utilizes Cognitive Behavioral skills to help clients uncover the underlying causes of their worries and fears; learn how to relax; look at situations in new, less frightening ways; and develop better coping and problem-solving skills. The goal is to help give clients tools to overcome their anxiety and teach them how to utilize them.
